Welcome. I’m Stuart, and I’ll be your guide for today.

So, what’s this all about? Well, given my conservation background, corporate experience, and the ability to create software products as a coding hobbyist, it was inevitable that I would be drawn to the current well-publicised issues surrounding our climate and conservation of the natural world.

We’re in the digital era, so there has to be a way to combine these aspects into real solutions. Turns out, there is. Browsing Twitter I came across multiple individuals and companies in just this sphere – startups in the climate space, investors in said startups and general thought-leaders examining, and helping to create, myriad tech solutions within the realm of climate science.

Instead of simply getting, and keeping, myself up to date on just what is going on out there, I decided to document this out on the web in the hopes that you’ll join me and add to the conversation.

So, on that note, let’s see who’s building what in the tech world that focuses on climate and conservation – who they are, what they’re building and what that code will do. Who knows? We may just find a gap and take that opportunity to build it ourselves.

Please get in touch via the contact form and sign up for my newsletter to get updates from this site. Additionally, if you know of any coders, companies, apps or sites that fit the bill of creating tech solutions to climate and conservation issues, please do let me know.
